GHG Management Services is a subsidiary company of The Garrett Hotel Group that focuses on the development and management of extremely high-end boutique hotels. It was formed to respond to the growing demand by owners to meet the need for specialized management of super boutique hotels and to properly operate those properties to the level demanded by very high-end clientele.

Led by the senior management team of The Garrett Hotel Group, GHG Management Services brings the same level of excellence to its management partnerships as to the properties that have earned them world-wide reputation. Philip A. Wood, President and Chief Operating Officer oversees GHG Management Services along with the senior management team of David W. Garrett, CEO and Chairman of the Board; Christie C. Garrett, Executive Vice-President of Design; Keith M. Reiner, Chief Financial Officer; and Melisa Wolfe, Director of Human Resources.

GHG Management Services fills a significant niche in the uppermost echelon of the hospitality market. While there are many great hotels and hotel companies in the world, large “chain” operations tend to favor a homogenous, easily managed formula in all their properties. The Garrett Hotel Group is known for maintaining the distinct historic personality of each of its hotels and resorts, and, as a management company, honors and enhances the natural character of each property it chooses to operate. GHG Management Services only partners with developers and owners of hotels and resorts of no more than 100 rooms, in the belief that a smaller scale allows for greater individuality and a much higher level of service. In the initial stages, GHG Management Services does an in-depth analysis to determine whether a property seeking its services is committed to meeting The Garrett Hotel Group’s ideals and goals. It is extremely important not only that the property meets our standards, but that its owners or investors share our philosophy. GHG Management Services then assembles and grooms an on-site team from its existing managers and staff, well-schooled in the GHG standards, complemented by carefully chosen new staff. The on-site management team will receive careful direction, support, and extensive training from the corporate office, focusing on achieving the highest standards while being true to the individuality of the project and the interests of the owners.

With each new partnership, GHG Management Services provides an unrelenting focus on quality, as always, and financial returns, regardless of the property’s ownership structure. The Garrett Hotel Group may, or may not, participate as an equity partner in the projects it manages.
